Our media relations efforts are designed to ensure that the broader public is aware and informed about our vision, mission, and related activities. We generate media releases to keep the media informed, interested, and responsive to our cause. Our aim is to promote broad awareness, understanding, and support for our business school among all of our constituents as well as among the local, regional, national, and international publics upon whose good will our success depends.

In BusinessWeek’s second annual ranking of the best undergraduate business schools in the United States, Florida International University ranked in the top 5 percent among the 1,400 business schools in the United States and among the top 20 percent of those accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) worldwide. Our business school ranked third best among Florida’s public business schools at #80, just below the University of Florida and Florida State.

The College of Business Administration and Florida International Bankers Association (FIBA) announced a new—and possibly unique partnership—between industry and an accredited academic institution to provide anti-money laundering compliance training to members of financial institutions. Florida International University made it into a “Top 100” list prepared by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine. - Financial Times (October 23, 2006) ranked our Executive MBA program for the first time ever in its list of the Top 85 Executive MBA programs in the world. Our program ranked higher (#78) than those at the University of Florida (#79) and the University of Miami (#81), making it the highest-ranked Executive MBA program in Florida.

The college is among the top international business schools included in Latin Trade’s (October, 2006) first-ever MBA ratings, which examined features like curricular innovation, entrepreneurial focus, diversity of student body, and more.
